Postgraduate Programs

DA-IICT offers five programs at postgraduate level (1) a two-year M.Tech. program in Information and Communication Technology (ICT) with project and thesis options (2) a two-year M.Sc. program in Information Technology (IT) (3) a two-year M.Sc. program in Data Science (DS) (4) a two-year M.Des. program in Communication Design (CD) and (5) an intense Doctoral program (Ph.D.) in ICT and allied disciplines, Mathematical and Computational Sciences and Humanities and Social Sciences.
Financial assistance provided to all Ph.D. students who have enrolled as full-time students and stipend provided to majority of M.Tech.(ICT) students in the form of Teaching Assistants. Details of pedagogy, curriculum, courses,… can be found in respective programs.
Since 2019 DA-IICT began to offer an M.Tech. in EC in collaboration with with C.R.Rao Advanced Institute of Mathematics, Statistics and Computer Science(C. R. Rao AIMSCS), University of Hyderabad; and along with IIT Jammu a CSE M.Tech. program each in Data Science and Information Security.

Ph.D.
The Doctoral Program leading towards the award of the Degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) provides the students an opportunity for a career in academia or in Research & Development Establishments.

DA-IICT offers two programs at postgraduate level in the online and distance learning mode (1) a two-year M.Sc. program in Data Science (DS) (2) a two-year MTech. program in DS. Online and distance learning involves in-person interaction between the students and the course mentor.
